- Your application must be received by the PMGP Admin Office before the end of your first semester.
- Credits are only granted for up to two Units of Study at the Graduate Certificate level except under exceptional circumstances where credit may be granted at Diploma level.

- The institution where your study was undertaken must be recognised by The University of Sydney.
- The study must have been completed no more than 10 years ago.

- An applicant not holding a recognised Bachelor degree, who uses his or her professional experience or qualifications as a basis for entry into the GradCert, cannot use the same experience or qualifications as the reason for applying for Credits.
- In the case of equivalent UoS undertaken as part of a recognised postgraduate award course, the weight (expressed in credit points) must be equivalent to, or greater than, that of its equivalent UoS in the PMGP.
- In the case of the point immediately above, there must be at least a 75% or greater rate of commonality between the content and structure of the courses.
