Usyd Library for Project Managment
The Engineering library is part of the University of Sydney Library system and supports students and academic staff in Engineering and Project Management. The collections of the library are available via the library's catalogue which includes print and online collections of books and journals. Many of the journals that the library subscribes to are available electronically giving library clients 24 hour/7 day a week access to research material. Resources for clients include databases for searching for research material in Project Management.
Those of greatest interest for Project Management are:
- Compendex (Engineering journals, conferences, books and theses from 1969)
- Business Source Premier (Management & Business full text journals often back to volume 1)
- Web of Science (Multidisciplinary citation database from 1980)
- Factiva (International & Australian full text newspapers and business magazines)
- AusStats (full text Australian statistical publications)
- SourceOECD (full text of OECD publications)
Other services available to Project Management postgraduate students include Document delivery (the library obtains journal articles we don't hold for the client) , Electronic reserve (Chapters of books and journal articles which we don't have available electronically can be scanned and made available via the catalogue) , a Research Guide for Project Managment and the Ask a Librarian service which offers access to an Engineering liaison librarian who will assist with your research needs
