Personal Development Planning On-line

A vital contributor to the success of the PMGP courses for any student is the completion of a personal development plan, called the Professional Development Plan (PDP).

Completing the PDP is compulsory for new students entering the programme.

This module is designed to be a roadmap for your career advancement, including identifying the best means of achieving your personal growth. The PDP can integrate your individual goals with the strategic objectives of your employer.

Our role is to provide the framework, information, briefing and advice, as well as procedures to guide the process. As you are the owner of the PDP, we do not intend to do your planning for you, but we will provide valuable information, advice, facilitation and feedback.

The result of the PDP process should be:

  • A personal Professional Development Plan (PDP) that will be assessed.
  • A Reflective Learning Report (RLR) on your involvement in the PDP process that is also assessed.
  • A Certificate of Completion for Professional Development Planning that carries a grade.

Admission into the University's courses (GradCertPM, GradDipPM and MPM) is subject to satisfactory completion of the PDP.
